I love this nostalgic restaurant. I remember in the late 2000's this place was popping with 2 buffet lanes fully stocked and lined up with people. Either way it's still a good place to fill up on salad and other treats. It's low staffed but the employees are always nice and always moving. The main entree is decent but it's all about the salad bar. It's always fresh and well stocked. Thank you to the staff for keeping it going.
Nice! Salad bar has a lot of choices. Nacho cheese dip was very yummy. Also loved the Mac and cheese. Good healthy food at wallet friendly prices! I recommend everyone who loves salad to come here. You will be back for more!
Last Fresh Choice left and I’m so thankful! Always brings back nostalgic feelings. Food is good and service is fantastic! My husband and I always look forward to making a trip over there

I’m so excited to see a Fresh choice! Great selection of food and a ton of healthy options. The service staff were so friendly and were somehow able to keep everything full and the restaurant clean. Good value and I look forward to going back. Thank you for a nice meal!
This was our first time eating here at this Fresh Choice, which I am being told that this is the last open buffet style fresh choice, which I didn’t know. This restaurant is independently owned which once you’ve come inside, you can easily tell that. It’s not the style choice, but I thought it was an extremely good experience the food outstanding especially the Spanish dishes. All of employees were quite friendly and very accommodating. The soda machine wasn’t working, but they accommodated us with a freshly brewed picture of iced tea and some kind of Kool-Aid/raspberry iced tea. That was really good. The American dishes could use a little more seasoning, but they provide you with a lot of extra seasonings and hot sauces which are more than fix that. If you’re visiting Gilroy and you’re looking for a good restaurant quality food at a reasonable price this is a place you should try out my wife and I really enjoyed it.
I went here my friends for dinner and we had a great meal. The salad buffet spread were very fresh with lot of options available. All the salad dressings and sides were superb! Love their pizzas, muffins and ice cream drizzled with nuts and chocolate syrup!
As soon as we found out there was a Fresh Choice within driving range we jumped at chance to go there. It was well worth it! The service staff were friendly and very helpful. All the fruits and vegetables were very fresh, the salad bar had great variety, the entire restaurant was very clean and took sanitary conditions properly including restrooms. Servers wore masks and gloves. The outdoor patio was very inviting and tables spaced appropriately. Would definitely return and recommend.
